Peer Mediation at TIS!
What is it?Peer mediation is basically kids talking to other kids about some problems. For example, if you had something bugging you in class but you didn't want to tell the teacher you could talk to your peer mentors. Then your mentors could help you find a solution to that problem. What ever you need help with we are here for you. Even if you live on the other side of the word you can email us and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We're just trying to make a difference.

Why?We decided to set up a peer mediation group because we wanted students to have a program to help them in school, like bullying, how they feel, and how they can prevent the problem, etc. We want to make this idea happen to help students so they won't feel bad everyday. Thats why we need to make this program to always find a solution so students won't always be so alone or feels invisible. We believe students will be more open to talking with a peer to help them solve a problem

Who?A lot of people are going to be involved in this peer mediation program. People like students, parents and teachers will be a part of the process. The program will be headed by our Principal Dr. Joyce and founders Zion, Isaac, and Bailey. Anyone can be a peer mentor. You must be responsible and mature enough to handle the responsibilities of being a peer mentor.
